LAST NIGHT!

Wednesday, October 26th, 2005!

Sadly, my five-year tenure at Davenport's came to an end.  I probably will return occasionally, perhaps to play special events or cabarets in the back room, and maybe, just maybe, a rare night in the front room!

Wednesdays in October (5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th), 2005

Andrew Blendermann, Davenport's regular Thursday night piano-man in the Chaise Lounge, has paired up with Angela Vigil, local jazz/soul/blues vocalist, to create an evening of close harmony duets entitled "Deuce!".  Every Wednesday in October, this duo will tickle your fancy with a wide variety of musical musings.  They will swing standards - and not-so-standards.  Mix the melodies of musicals and movies.  Juice up some jazz and jingles for an eclectic evening of close harmonies and cool duets.  Deuce! promises to be a jazzy evening of fun.

(and stick around - I'll be playing in Davenport's front room afterwards!)
